20 Asian & English movie/drama icons for Round 3 @ somein30

Round 3 at somein30 was to make vibrant and/or muted icons.If you've seen my sets,you know I'm all about equal numbers,lol!So  ten icons of each style! I tried them in hard mode (because why now?!) Take any icons with credit!

5 icons each from: Guardian,  BBC Merlin,  Mulan: Rise of a warrior(2009),  Marie Antoinette (2006)

Resources +inspo used:

A bit about the inspo:
Icons 1-5,8 & 10 were inspired by the icons in the inspo post & the colours from Meghan Trainor's 'All about that bass'.
6 uses this given texture , for 7 I liked the colours of this palette but the effects made them bright bright!!  9 was sort of done in this style/color.
Icons 13,15,16,17,19 & 20 contain given resources from the inspo post.For 14 this green-ish palette worked perfectly!For the Marie Antoinette set in general of course the let them eat cake palette was my intention to use for all 5 but once I started using the textures,I focused on the palette mildly.

These are amazing! I love the vibrant colors and composition on the first part of the set, but in all honesty my faves are 18 and 20 - coloring and crop on them is just perfection!

Awesome set! I love the colors of the vibrant section so much. The compositions in this post are great, especially of 10, 13, and 16. I also really like the crop and vintage looks of 18 :)

Ooh wow! The first 10 are sooo colorful, complex and creative! Very nicely done! It seems I could look at them for hours and still find something new. lol

My faves are: 1, 3, 4, 7, 10, and among the lovely muted colored icons: 12, 13, 15, 16, 20.

This is such a stunning set ♥ Not only do I love the vibrant coloring and composition in the first half (that painted hair looks great) but the second half's muted icons are also gorgeous and lively?! Amazing work.

The compositions are amazing!! I love how distinct the two parts of the set are, with the great, candy-like colour combinations of the vibrant ones and the elegance of the muted ones. I love 1, 2, 14, 18 and 20 but the most but great job on all of them :)

Oh man I'm so behind with comments on this comm.

I love what you did with this. The whole first row really look like jsfunction's style - omg that's so awesome. I love the hair painting and the primary colors, my fave is Lin Jing but they're all amazing.

In the second row, I really like 7 and 10.

The third row looks very gritty and tragic, like a war movie. I especially like the text work on 14, and the composition of 12.

The last row is a perfect embodiment of roccoco - the colors, the expressions. All that hair omg.

I love this set from start to finish! <3

I'm so glad the war like tone of the movie came across in the Mulan set. And yes,for the first set I absolutely used inspo from jsfunction's style!:D It's so different and took a lo of playing around and time! I loved how they turned out!
