Once I started realising just how Zhao Yunlan sits and lounges everywhere but seats of any sort, I just had to do it! :D

This is an EXCELLENT post.

I'm pretty sure I remember Zhu Yilong teasing Bai Yu that he "never stands when he can sit" in an interview. XD It hadn't occurred to me that he sits everywhere EXCEPT chairs. It's a great character note!

Bai Yu does this with all (well, most of) his characters, just not as obviously as with Zhao Yunlan. I can honestly relate - I love sitting. :D And I adore every single time he sits on a table.

My favorite sprawl is the one in the Dixing throne room. It's just... give him the giant monumental magma-filled ritual hall that is the center of power of an ancient mystical underground kingdom, and of *course* his reaction is to sprawl comfortably on a dramatic bit of staircase.
