Now that October is over and I couldn't yet again do most of Inktober, I still believe in having few completed pieces rather than lots of unfinished works! XD
My post on Tumblr is here.

In the beginning I started out with coloured works but then I realised that I pretty much suck at lineart so I started trying to focus more on my weak areas like anatomy and lines,lol.

I honestly wanted to do Guardian for Inktober but my inspiration took other routes too. I used these two inktober prompt lists:

Awww!Thank you so much! I was trying so hard to come up with something for stars and suddenly the Shaya idea came to me. <3 Rapunzel was just such a perfect choice for the prompt and I realised I'd never drawn her!

I love them all! The colors in the Sha-Ya one are so soft and wonderful, and the contrast in the Hermione one between the colored and uncolored parts is really effective!

Thanks a lot!!I wanted to try getting something of Sha Ya's feelings at the starry night. Hehe,Since the cauldron was the main focus of the Hermione one,I wanted to try mixing up colours and just the lineart. :)

The Sha Ya one is beautiful. I love how you captured her blissful expression at seeing the starry sky Lin Jing had made her.

The Ya Qing one is amazing. That framing with the crow and the feathers is just perfect!

I love Hermione too. The use of those rich colors on the cauldron, and then the line art and lighter colors in the background, create this liminal effect that really suits the magical subject matter.
