20 Monochrome icons for Round 37 @monthlyinspo

Round 37 at monthlyinspo was about making monochrome icons which isn't something I do that often. For this, I did four colours and four shows for each colour, and ended up with quite some alts!
5 icons each from Vincenzo, Tale of the nine-tailed, Flower of Evil and The romance of Tiger and Rose,.

Eeee!!It took a while to get how to do it,haha! I used 'hard light' with a gradient of colours on each icon and erased parts of it out from the character and played around some more with soft blobs of light etc.But 'hard light' in photoshop was my friend for this challenge!

Gorgeous ! I love the way you've picked up 4 specific colors and made the set according to it, it gives the whole set a very cohesive and harmonious feeling. <3 I loved the entire set. I really love the soft coloring and bg of 16, 17 18. The crop and coloring of 3, 4, 5 make the cions look very gothic and interesting. I also love the subtle text work in the bg of 4, 5.
Also the blocking in 8 is so amazing.

I initially wanted to do a rainbow set buuuut, I got carried away with the red and then decided that I simply had to have a blue set and then a green,because I rarely use it and so I ended up with this!XD
