Yes, I think that's true. I'm not quite sure why, but I think it's because on dw, it evolved as a side-activity to blogging, whereas on lj it has outgrown those origins already for... probably decades, and now there's almost none of it left. I like the interactive aspect here on dw a lot, too. <3

(also, i've had a good month, and am hopeful I'll be able to manage to finish my sets both for fandom 10in30 and icons10in20. woot!)
