somein30 was a randomized icon challenge where we got 20 random prompts and oh my,it was so much fun!:D Hover to see the fandom names and prompts.The inspos and explanations are below the icon set.All icons are free to take with credit.Preview:

Explanation of some of the icons:
Icon 3- the prompt was:Random Praise:very interesting composition and pretty colouring. I tried using a few different elements in this icon to make it look interesting!:D
Icon 5- A part of the lyrics was 'You've been on my mind' and I just had to icon my favourite ship in the MDZS/The Untamed verse-XiCheng!!
Icon 6- This movie poster:
I went with using the black outfit,the white-ish BG and of course the title in this icon.

I likedthe spring-y vibe using the colours in this icon originally so I kept that and tried doing it in a different way.
Icon 11-The song title was Win,Lose or Draw. I just knew I wanted to icon The Queen's Gambit for this one!

petite_tomate. I couldn't resist the blue, of course. The rest of the inspo shows in the 3 characters,shadow on the ground and the vibrant lighting.
Icon 13- Album cover: Half Japanese Volume 4 1997-2001.
This one was difficult at first because I couldn't decide how I wanted to take the inspo.Then I decided to use Japanese actors and do the half-half composition on it. Park Shin Hye's outfit is also black and white like the cover!:D
Icon 14: This book cover:
Williamsburg by Tim McNeese. I used the banner on the top part of the cover,the trees and the sky as inspo for the Emma icon.

I love the blue color and the contrast on 1.
3 has wonderful use on texture and text. ♥ I love the coloring!
5 is stunning <3 I adore the levels, colors and the crop
7 has powerful feeling and I love the crop! Stunning contrast too
I love also 8; stunning crop, background and the strong contrast <3
11 is fantastic; I adore blue coloring and the shadow!
14 is so beautiful <3 I love pastel color, text is so pretty and the lighting so beautiful

2 is really cute, love the pink coloring and the subtle text in the background!
Also love 8-9, I think the icons fit the characters' personality really well - a mix of sexy/cute/creepy/complex for Misa, and just downright creepy/murderous for Light, haha!
My fav is 12, really gorgeous blue coloring!

Omg before even looking at the prompt, 3 caught my eye with the gorgeous composition, so great job with matching the praise! So many things and they all fit together, and the coloring is absolutely lovely too withthe muted purples and pinks.
4 has a spectacular crop and coloring, and I loooove the blocking, coloring and text use in 5!
The warped text in 6 looks great, and it's a great match for the poster.
The composition in 9 is INSANE, wow. What a fantastic, unique way to combine so many different elements.
11 is an amazing, clean icon - the coloring is super well done and I love the subtle lighting.
Wow your inspiration album cover was super difficult since there's no people on it... I love your interpretation of going more with the title, and doing a double interpretation of it with the subject and composition, very clever!
14 IS MY FAVORITE THOUGH, it is incredible. First of all AWESOME use of the inspiration book cover, the coloring is amazing, and I particularly adore the text work with the banner. Perfect icon <3

I saw this picture on tumblr a while ago and i thought it was so beautiful.
Also Anna Taylor Joy is awesome. Her eyes are so unique. I've only seen her in emma and the queen's gambit, but she is an amazing actress :)

Yes,Anya Taylor Joy is so so versatile!I'd watched a movie of hers called 'The witch' a long time back but I think it's recently that she got very famous and I'm so glad to see that because I ended up watching Queen's gambit and a mini series called 'The miniaturist' of hers. :)

OMG,I too signed up for the book cover round but oh man,the amount of work I had in April...I might try to make some icons by tonight or just leave it. T_T
