Fannish Friday: your ultimate microfandom
I want some conversation! So let's talk about the stuff we love that nobody else loves. I feel certain I've asked about this before, but it can never hurt to ask about it again!
What is the one (or two or three) canon that you love so very much that you're ravenous for fic/meta/fanart/squee about it but you simply can't find it?
The three that come to mind for me are:
+ The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion, which has such rich worldbuilding and side characters that I wish could read a thousand fics about virtually anything!
+ M.M. Kaye's The Shadow of the Moon, which has one of my ultimate OTPs, who I would like to read a thousand canon divergence fics in which Alex and Winter fall in love in a thousand different ways.
+ Shut Up! Flower Boy Band, a kdrama about a rock band that has a brush with fame, which has such rich characters and relationships that I would could (again) read a thousand fics about these characters bumping into each other! Jamie wrote me one OT4 fic back in the long-ago days after the show came out, but other than that, there's almost nothing.

Admin: Poll: Challenge tags
Background: Dreamwidth has a 1500-tag limit, and fan_flashworks is constantly bumping up against it. So we have an ongoing tag management project to try to gain ourselves some elbow room. You might have seen our periodic posts about merging old single-use fandom tags. Unfortunately, we are coming to the end of the easily-merged fandom tags, and so need to find another way to reduce our tag use.
Today's topic: We mods have been talking about the challenge tags (c: amnesty, c: science, etc.) These tags label an entry as responding to a particular prompt (or being part of an amnesty round).
We're not sure if anyone's actually using these! So we wanted to check in with you all before deciding between A) removing them entirely, or B) leaving only the ones from the last 12 months (and only tagging amnesty posts with the amnesty tag). Option A) would make our mod lives easier, but if they are serving a purpose for some of you, we definitely want to take that into account when making our decision. :-)
If we remove the challenge tags, we will change the standard subject-line format for all rounds to "[challenge]: [fandom]: [medium]: [title]", ie, the same as the current format for amnesty rounds. Community members are welcome to go back and add the challenge to the subject lines of previous entries, too (though we know that for some of you, that would be a Herculean task!).

Note: I came across the term "arousal non-concordence", made the most basic research, and it seems to fit a couple of characters of mine. Since I've been working in writing about this one again, she's the chosen one to suffer.
I'm basically a high school dropout, I apologise for inaccuracies – you can blame them on the nature of omegaverse.

Challenge #219 - Magical Creature
I am not usually an icon maker, but I saw this challenge and couldn't resist. My favorite magical creature is Feo Ul, a pixie from the Final Fantasy XIV MMORPG. Pixies are playful and love to play tricks on non-pixie races. Feo Ul is a rare pixie who works in conjunction with the player character, and eventually Feo Ul becomes Titania (King of the Pixies).
