Your post made me realise that I now have enough icons again to upload my WALL-E icon! :D
I haven't see Luca yet - didn't get around to it while I still had Disney+. I'm thinking about reneweing the subscription for a month to watch some movies, especially some of the missing Pixar ones I've got. I haven't kept up...
Merida is such a pretty movie and I love the character, but the movie's pacing is off and I really wasn't into the whole bear slapstick, unfortunately.
WALL-E is definitely a favourite! It's just such a beautiful story and I love the was it's told! Adore that one, though it isn't the one I usually pick for a rewatch.
That's more likely to be Ratatouille, like it is for you! That's such a feel good movie, it's so entertaining and funny, but also has realy heart, and the food looks amazing! My mother tried to watch it but just couldn't - seeing the rat in the kitchen was so icky for her, no matter that it's only animation. XD
And yes, Coco is also so gorgeous and so emotional! I cried so much! XD It was also incredibly successful in China, which was surprising for a Pixar movie. But it seems that the themes of family and loving/remembering your ancestors, being familial but also true to yourself really resonated extremely well. No surprise there!
